The SXBP Variable Frequency Series Resonance Test System is a modular high-voltage AC testing solution developed for insulation withstand verification of electrical equipment with high voltage ratings and significant capacitive loads.
Variable-Frequency Power Supply
Provides controlled excitation power and adjustable output frequency.
Excitation Transformer
Transfers and matches the excitation voltage required by the resonant circuit.
Resonant Reactor
Forms the core resonant element and works with the capacitance of the test object.

What does the SXBP system test?
It is mainly used for high-voltage AC withstand and insulation testing of equipment such as power cables, GIS, transformers, circuit breakers and other HV electrical apparatus.
Why is resonance technology suitable for cable testing?
Power cables have distributed capacitance, which can create a significant capacitive load during AC testing. Series resonance technology works with this capacitance to establish a resonant circuit and generate the required high-voltage output efficiently.
Can the system be used for underground cable projects?
Yes. The SXBP series is suitable for high-voltage and EHV underground cable testing, including long-distance cable systems.
