||
The High Voltage Series Resonance Test System is engineered for high-voltage AC withstand testing of electrical equipment used in power transmission and distribution systems.
It is particularly suitable for testing XLPE power cables, power transformers, GIS, circuit breakers, busbars and other substation equipment.
The system uses a frequency-controlled power supply, excitation transformer, high-voltage reactor and capacitive voltage divider as its main components.
Power Cable Testing
For commissioning, acceptance testing and maintenance of medium- and high-voltage cables.
Transformer Testing
For AC withstand verification of transformer insulation systems.
GIS Testing
For AC dielectric testing of GIS and associated substation equipment.
Substation Testing
For switchgear, busbars, CT/PT, insulators and other high-voltage components.
Q: What frequency range is available?
A: Depending on the model, variable-frequency systems commonly cover ranges such as 20–300 Hz or 30–300 Hz.
Q: Can the system test long XLPE cables?
A: Yes. Series resonance is particularly suitable for capacitive cable loads, with the final cable length and voltage determined by the system's rated capacity, reactor configuration and test requirements.
