The power-frequency withstand voltage test system is designed for high-voltage insulation testing across power utilities, industrial and mining facilities, and research organizations. The system consists of two main sections: a control unit for test operation and monitoring, and a high-voltage booster unit for voltage generation.

Q1. Is the equipment suitable for field testing?
A: Yes. The system can be configured for both laboratory and on-site testing. Lightweight transformer options and different control-console configurations can be selected when portability and transportation are important.
Q2. What control modes are available?
A: Depending on the SXTC model, the system can support manual, electric, fully automatic and industrial PC control. Automatic configurations can provide functions such as automatic voltage boosting, test timing, data recording and report management.
Q3. Does the system support automatic test data recording?
A: Yes. The higher-level configurations can support digital measurement, USB communication and computer-based data management. Depending on the configuration, test results can be stored, exported and used for test report generation.
Q4. What protections are provided during the test?
A: The control system can be configured with protection functions such as over-voltage protection, over-current protection, zero-position interlock and emergency stop, helping improve operational safety during high-voltage testing.
Q5. How do I select the right test transformer capacity?
A: The required capacity should be selected based on the test voltage, capacitance/load of the test object, leakage current and required test conditions. For capacitive test objects such as cables, GIS and large electrical equipment, the required test capacity may be significantly higher than for smaller equipment. A technical configuration should therefore be made based on the actual test object.
