400kV/20kJ Lightning Impulse Test System
The Lightning Impulse Test System is designed for insulation performance verification of high voltage electrical equipment under lightning impulse voltage conditions. The system generates standardized impulse voltage waveforms to simulate lightning overvoltage stresses and evaluate the insulation strength of transformers, GIS, cables, bushings, insulators, and other power equipment.
The impulse voltage generator adopts modular design technology with charging unit, impulse capacitors, multi-stage generator structure, control system, measurement system, and protection devices. It can generate standard lightning impulse voltage waveform (1.2/50μs) according to IEC 60060 requirements for high voltage testing applications.
