The Primary Current Injection Test System is designed to inject high current directly into the primary circuit of electrical equipment for thermal and current-carrying performance testing.
It can provide continuous high-current loading for temperature rise and heat-run tests.
The system is designed around the practical requirements of high-current testing:
High output current
Suitable for high-current electrical equipment.
Stable operation
Designed for continuous current loading.
Flexible control
Manual and automatic control modes can be provided.
Temperature monitoring
Multiple measuring channels can monitor different points of the test object.
What is primary current injection testing?
Primary injection testing applies a relatively large current directly to the primary circuit of the test object. It can be used for current-carrying and thermal testing as well as certain protection-system verification applications.
Is this the same as a secondary injection tester?
No. Primary injection directly drives the primary current path, while secondary injection applies a lower-level simulated current or signal to a secondary circuit.
Can it be used for heat-run testing?
Yes. Primary current injection is one of the core methods used for high-current temperature rise testing.
